Welcome to Payneham Vale OrganicsSue and Ron Watkins

Payneham Vale is working on a whole environmental approach to agricultural land use. Our produce is all grown organic with the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA) so you can be assured of the quality and benefits of chemical free food for you and your family.

The property consists of 552 hectares (1380 acres) in the Frankland River Region of Western Australia. The farm runs cattle for beef and sheep for wool and prime lamb production.

Broadacre crops wheat, oahents and lupins, in addition to olives and mixed vegetables. Potatoes, onions, carrots and garlic are grown in season and our free ranging hens produce numerous eggs.

Eggs, meat, olive oil and vegetables are available at the Albany Farmers Market each Saturday morning between 8 am and 12 noon.

Our environment is an ecosystem.

Learning to work within and not at the expense of such a system is of the utmost importance.

Payneham Vale is a farm with a differance. Known world-wide for its outstanding practical achievements in the protection and improvement of the environment, it has been owned by the Watkins family since 1908.
